Coming soon to iPad and the browser

Design your quilts with your finger, from sketch to pattern.

Why Quiltkit

Everything you need to go from idea to cut fabric.

  • Touch first

Draw with your finger or an Apple Pencil. The editor stays smooth, even on a large quilt.

  • Your stash, photographed

Photograph your fabrics. Quiltkit crops them, corrects the lighting, finds their main colors and files them in My stash, in folders.

  • All the way to the PDF pattern

Yardage, cutting plans, 1:1 scale templates and a clean PDF, ready to print or to sell.

How it works

Three steps, a few minutes.

  1. The editor: the “Midnight Stars” quilt, its blocks and its fabrics

    Design

Choose a layout and traditional blocks, then set the size, the borders and the sashing.

  2. A photographed fabric: automatic cropping, lighting and main colors

    Fill

Use solid colors or your own photographed fabrics, and place the print in each piece. The quilt updates right away.

  3. Yardage per fabric and its cutting plan

    Sew

Get the yardage per fabric, the cutting list and the 1:1 scale templates, to print together or separately.

For pattern designers

Sell your patterns without going back to Illustrator.

  • PDF laid out automatically: cover, yardage, cutting, templates.
  • Several sizes of the same quilt, recalculated in one click.
  • Your brand: your logo and your name, in English, French or German.
  • Later: a built-in shop to sell directly*.

* 5% commission per sale.

Frequently asked questions

When does Quiltkit launch?

On November 15, 2026. People on the waitlist test the app first.

How much does it cost?

Free for 2 quilts and 3 photographed fabrics, with yardage on screen. Plus costs €4.99 per month or €39 per year; Designer, for selling your patterns, €9.99 per month or €89 per year.

On which devices?

iPad, Chromebook, Mac and PC, right in the browser. Nothing to install. An app for iPad and iPhone will follow.

In which languages?

The app is in English and French. PDF patterns can be exported in English, French and German.

Are the colors on screen true to the fabric?

Almost. A screen never shows a fabric exactly, so Quiltkit corrects the lighting of your photos (daylight, warm lamp) and shows you each fabric’s main colors.

Are my quilts safe?

They are saved on your device, even offline. With an account, they are also backed up: you’ll find them on another device.

Every stitch counts.
