Privacy policy
Last updated: [DATE DE MISE À JOUR]
This page explains what we do with your data when you join the Quiltkit waitlist. Short version: we keep your email address to write to you at launch, we don’t sell it and we don’t share it.
Who is responsible for your data?
[NOM ET PRÉNOM OU RAISON SOCIALE]. Contact: contact@quiltkit.app.
What we collect
- your email address;
- the language of the page and the form you used (top or bottom of the page);
- if you answer the optional question, your profile (quilter or pattern designer);
- the date and time you signed up, which records your consent;
- where relevant, the campaign that brought you here (
utm_parameters in the link, for example “instagram”).
We don’t store your IP address in our database. Cloudflare keeps it for one minute to block abuse, then forgets it. The site’s technical logs contain neither your email address nor your IP address.
Why
Only to tell you about the launch of Quiltkit, the opening of tests and the founder offer. The legal basis is your consent (article 6.1.a of the GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
How long
Your data is kept for 2 years after you sign up, or until you ask for it to be deleted or unsubscribe from one of our emails.
Who has access
Only the Quiltkit team, and the technical providers we need:
- Cloudflare (website hosting and database): sign-ups are stored in the European Union. Cloudflare is an American company; the transfer is covered by the Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses;
- Google Fonts: the site’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers, which therefore receive your IP address when the page is displayed.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses no advertising trackers and no analytics. A single cookie, quiltkit-langue, is set if you choose a language in the selector: it remembers
that choice for a year, is never read by a third party, and therefore needs no consent. If
you choose the light or dark theme, that choice is stored in your browser (local storage) and
is never sent to us.
Your rights
You can at any time access your data, correct it, have it deleted, object to its processing, ask for a copy or withdraw your consent. Write to us at contact@quiltkit.app. We reply within one month at most.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or with the authority in your country.
